Website Design for a Multi-Category Engineering Hardware and Electrical Trading Company in Dubai
A sidebar-driven, e-commerce-style catalog structured across ten-plus subcategories of precision and electrical tooling.
Engineering and electromechanical hardware tradingasbmet.com
This site uses a sidebar-driven catalog structure similar to an e-commerce store, since the product range runs ten-plus subcategories deep across precision and measuring tools, cutting tools, welding gauges, nylon and teflon products, non-ferrous tools, and electrical accessories, deeper than a simple category-tile homepage could handle cleanly. No docx case study exists for this client, so the build is described from what the mockups show.
A left-hand category and brand filter sits next to a grid of individual products, bending springs, brass lock nuts, cable lugs, cable markers, conduit die sets, heat-shrinkable tubing, each with its own product photo and name, letting a visitor narrow by category or by brand at the same time rather than choosing one filter axis. The homepage hero banner positions the company as a one-stop shop across all six category groups, backed by a rotating brand showcase (Insize, Mitutoyo, Solar, Splash, G.R.L Gage) that cycles through represented manufacturers rather than listing them all in a static grid.
The contact page lists two physical branches, Musaffah in Abu Dhabi and Deira in Dubai, each with its own embedded Google Map, since a single shared map would not have told a visitor which branch was closer. The navigation includes an eCatalogue link for full product-line downloads and a blog section for ongoing content, and the layout is shown responsive across tablet and desktop breakpoints in the mockups, with the sidebar filter collapsing appropriately at narrower widths.
