A seven-page WordPress catalog site built from scratch to organize a wide building materials and safety equipment range by category.

This is a seven-page WordPress build (Home, About, Products, Catalog, Blog, Why Choose Us, Contact) built as a first website from scratch, since the business previously had no online presence to point customers to. Because the catalog spans building materials, hardware tools, consumables, safety equipment, and rigging products rather than one product line, the homepage is organized around category tiles rather than a single hero product.

The build started with wireframes to map out navigation before any visual design, then SEO-aware content was written to cover the offerings and value proposition category by category. The visual design was produced in Adobe XD and Figma using the client's existing logo colors (a green-and-white palette) so the new site read as a continuation of the existing brand rather than a rebrand.

Each product category, building materials, safety equipment, hardware tools, paint items, consumables, rigging products, and lifting products, gets its own tile with an image and an item count on the homepage, so a visitor can gauge catalog depth before clicking through to a listing page. A WhatsApp floating button and a site-wide search bar sit on every page to shorten the path from browsing to inquiry, and a Google Reviews plugin surfaces customer testimonials on the homepage for trust without needing a separate reviews page. The contact page pairs a form with an embedded map for the Dubai showroom. A best-sellers row on the homepage highlights specific items, measuring tape, safety harnesses, wire rope clips, pulled from across categories to give returning visitors a shortcut to popular products. The overall structure was kept deliberately simple and easy to maintain, with headroom to add more advanced e-commerce or filtering features in a later phase.
