SEO Case Study: Website Rebuild and Above-Competition Ranking for a Fasteners Supplier

This client's previous website was an old static HTML build, the kind of site that is difficult to restructure for SEO without a full rebuild. We replaced it with a new website and ran SEO from there, and the client is now confirmed to be ranking above the competition it used to trail.

For roughly the first seven months of this 16-month window, daily clicks and impressions moved in a narrow band, consistent with a rebuilt site still being indexed and its new on-page structure still settling with Google. Starting in mid-October, that band widened considerably: daily click peaks that had rarely cleared the low-to-mid range began regularly reaching multiples of that level, and impressions scaled up in parallel, growth broad-based across many search queries rather than concentrated in one or two spikes, consistent with a full technical and content rebuild taking hold rather than a single-page fix.

That elevated, wider-swinging pattern held for the remainder of the tracked window, with the most recent months showing some of the highest daily volumes in the account's history. Total clicks over the full period reached 10.6K against 658K impressions, with an average position of 10 and a 1.6% average CTR, both strong for a technical, search-heavy product category where buyers search by specific part names and specifications. The move from an old static site with limited visibility into consistent page-one presence, and staying there, matches the client's own account of now outranking competitors it previously trailed.
