Social Media Design for a Skincare and Personal Care Brand in the UAE

An ingredient-led Instagram post system giving every petroleum jelly, lotion, and scrub variant its own recognisable colour and texture identity.

The design here leans hard into ingredient storytelling to differentiate each jar in a petroleum jelly and scrub-led range, a different format from the shower gel and soap templates seen elsewhere in this portfolio. Aloe vera petroleum jelly gets sliced aloe leaves and water droplets, papaya gets bright green tropical leaf framing, cocoa butter gets warm wood tones and cacao pods split open, giving every variant an instantly recognisable colour and texture identity before the product name is even read.

What stays fixed is the jar always shot centre-frame at a slight three-quarter angle, with the variant name set in a soft serif or script typeface layered over the ingredient background; this gives the feed a premium, apothecary feel rather than a mass-market drugstore look. What varies is the ingredient photography paired with each jar, and for the perfumed body lotion sub-line (romantic rose, elegant, seductive, alluring) the format shifts to include a model portrait alongside the bottle, echoing fragrance-launch imagery rather than a plain product shot. That shift makes sense since those variants are sold on scent appeal rather than functional skincare benefit, so a face and a mood do more selling work than an ingredient close-up would.

Across the three mockup boards, the range spans petroleum jelly, perfumed lotion, sunblock, and face and body scrub formats, and the consistent thread tying it together is that every post pairs the product with a visual cue to its core ingredient or scent story, aloe, papaya, cocoa, rose, pomegranate, rather than relying on generic beauty imagery alone.
